Programme Overview
The Technician Certificate in Captive Wildlife Management and Taxidermy aims to produce field operations wildlife management technicians for various sectors, including government, NGOs, local communities, private companies, and international agencies, providing a comprehensive understanding of wildlife management approaches.

General entry requirements
- Have successfully completed Basic Technician Certificate (NTA 4)
- Have successfully completed form six (6) with principal passes in non-religious subjects
- Have a good command of English language, both in speaking and writing
Specific entry requirements
- Possession of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least one Principal Pass and one Subsidiary in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information and Computer Studies, Geography, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, English Language, Food and and Human Nutrition, Computer Science.
OR
- Possession of Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Wildlife Management, Wildlife Tourism, Tourism Management, Tourism, Tour Guiding Operations, Community based Tourism, Tourism Operations, Tourism Hunting, Beekeeping, Forestry, Wildlife & Law Enforcement, Livestock Production, Fisheries, Agriculture Production, General Agriculture, Environment, Aquaculture Technology, Horticulture, Leather Technology, Animal Health & Production and Zoology.
