Programme Overview
The Basic Technician Certificate in Community-Based Conservation is a program designed for field operations in various natural resources management sectors, including government, NGOs, local communities, private companies, and international agencies. General entry requirements
- Have successfully completed form four (4) with passes in non-religious subjects
- Have a good command of English language, both in speaking and writing
Specific entry requirements
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Mathematics, Agriculture, English Language, Literature in English, History, Bookkeeping, Commerce, Computer and Information Studies, and Food and Human Nutrition.
OR
- National Vocational Award (NVA) III in Livestock Production, Animal Health, Range Management, Fisheries, Tour Guiding, Travel and Tourism, Wildlife Tourism, Agriculture, Beekeeping, Forestry and other related courses from institutions Accredited by National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET). Applicants applying using NVA III must have obtained two passes in Ordinary Secondary School Certificate.
