The visit of the Russian Federation Ambassador to the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Mr. Andrey Avetisyan, has opened a new chapter brimming with opportunities for the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka.

During discussions with College Rector Prof. Jafari Kideghesho and other members of management, several potential areas for collaboration with Russian institutions were identified.

H.E. Mr. Andrey Avetisyan committed to championing avenues for these partnerships, including the establishment of a Russian language and cultural center at the College to support Tanzania's tourism industry.

Additionally, opportunities such as scholarships for CAWM staff at Russian institutions, as well as staff and student exchange programs, were discussed, promising to foster greater academic and cultural cooperation.
