PROF. KIDEGHESHO URGES MWEKA STUDENTS TO UPHOLD INTEGRITY AND ETHICAL CONDUCT IN WILDLIFE AND TOURISM CONSERVATION

Professor Jafari R. Kideghesho, Rector of the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka, has called on students in Wildlife and Tourism programs to uphold ethical standards and take an active role in preserving natural habitats and species for future generations.

Addressing students during the orientation for Basic Technician and Technician Certificate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year, he emphasized that integrity is key to shaping the future of their careers and the industry.

He warned that any involvement in illegal or unethical behavior not only harms personal reputations but also tarnishes the image of the College and the nation.

Professor Kideghesho further stressed the importance of honesty and ethical conduct in all aspects of their academic and professional lives.

The College's orientation aimed to raise awareness about the significance of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in ensuring a successful future for its students in the wildlife and tourism sectors.
